"Green" Blade Server Green is the new black. Even Facebook(R)(TM) has paid attention to their servers and designed their own. They achieved a energy saving of 38%, with the same processing power, compared to standard servers. Our new 'Green' Blade Server is based on the miniITX motherboard and therefore consumes only 10% energy compared to a regular computer. This machine is nevertheless powerful. Based on the latest MSI E350 motherboard, with an AMD dual-core CPU and max. 6 GB of memory it can perform just about any serious job. As with all other computers from us, the motherboard and all other components of this computer have been specially selected for their 'green' characteristics. The 1U high case (fits into a standard 19 inch rack) can accomodate up to 2 laptop drives, which are hot-swappable (depending on OS), and one full-sized drive (also hot-swappable, depending on OS). It comes with a single 160 GB hard drive or similar, HDMI video output, gigabit LAN, 7.1 audio, and 6 USB ports (2 USB V3.0). These pre-production models can be yours for $645.00 each.
